Finally found someone making an oh-poop handle - from an American Site
The passenger experience in this car sucks. You've got the catalytic converter hump, the subwoofer, a cup holder to bang your knee on and worse of all, nothing to grab on to when the driver is... being a driver.
I know the MX5 is a "drivers car" and it's way more comfortable than an Elise, for example, but one of the things I love about the Miata is I can bring my partner or dad on a drive with me, as opposed to my other hobby of motorcycling.
Sure, you can bring a passenger on a bike, but like grandma says "passenger on motorcycle is like sex with condom, good not great"
I was stoked to see someone was selling these when I was doing a random search online:
