Hi all, may I share my experiences with replacement door bushings? At the recent National rally Moss had a trade stand so I bought a pair of their delrin door bushings for a good price.
Fitting is simple and longer replacement bolts are included.
I was forced to sand the offside one down quite a bit but the nearside one fitted without any sanding required.
It may be placebo but TOG definitely feels tighter and rattles less.
I have a suspicion that the largest benefit could be enjoyed by drivers of older, higher mileage cars like TOG. Some NC models and ND cars are probably much stiffer in the first place? I'd be interested in other drivers feedback if they've fitted something similar
If anyone can buy this type of replacement door bushing for a sensible price they might be pleasantly surprised.
Cheers, Guy

I fitted some to Daisy, the doors certainly seem to fit tighter but I think the car could do with a bit of chassis tightening although it still drives like a roller skate.
I'm thinking of going back to standard suspension from the adjustable coil-overs to get a more comfortable ride.

I had very worn door bushings on my first Mk1. After having owned two XR3i cabrios in the murky distant past I thought the scuttle shake was normal. Fitting a pair of new standard bushings cured it completely.
I wouldn't imagine there will be a huge difference in OEM and Delrin bushings but I know for a fact that replacing worn ones makes a big difference.
I believe bushings are the same right through from NA to ND1 but design changed on ND2.
