I used plastidip, a rubberised based paint, to do the snout logo of the ND. It leaves a mat black slightly textured finish. Mine was done over 20 months ago and still looks as good as the day it was done. If you do it and then change your mind, it will simply peel off. It took 6 coats, leaving 15 minutes between each cost. Paint can was left in warm water to keep the liquid as fluid as possible. There is over-spray, but it rubs off with a finger if you haven't masked a big enough area. What is very weird is the way it peels off the bits you don't want painted, just start the peel with a tooth-pick and it peels off until it meets a bend and then tears neatly, see pictures. Didn't believe it when I was told this, until I did it myself. You can get a glossifier if you want it shiny, and there is a great range of colours as well.
