Well you learn something new everyday.....I never realised that there was a sort of cabin air filter type thing fitted to an ND. Shows the fitting of a mesh grille over the intake to stop bits of leaves being sucked in and to keep Rodents out ! This video also shows an updated cabin filter being fitted.. Wow, that’s a lot of work to change that filter. Does this get done on a full Mazda service?
Ours will be on the other side of the car though, won’t it 😆

Two things
1. Nice to see bonnet lifters fitted
2. Would like to see a video of someone getting past the steering column on a RHD to change the filter

Wow, that’s a lot of work to change that filter. Does this get done on a full Mazda service? Ours will be on the other side of the car though, won’t it 😆 If its the same on RHD, think a Henry vac tube down from outside may be the easiest option. |

Ours will be on the other side of the car though, won’t it 😆 Not 100% sure but I'd guess it'll be on the nearside. The reason NDs don't have a glovebox, is the space is taken up by the AC / heater box and fan ducting. |
