I bought an add-on screen for Daisy - I had considered changing the stereo for a display, but the ones I saw were too low down and they took your eyes off the road. I bought this from aliexpress last year, but having only recently got the car back from the sprayers, I was waiting for a good day to strip out the centre console and fit. Usual grief, I accidentally blew a fuse removing the CB kit and it took me ages to find the culprit. I have a whole zipbag of fuses but did I have a 15 amp one, no! Couple of pics . . .

Looks great Jeff, is it a permanent fixture or is it detachable ?

It's permanent in as much it's 3M sticky pad, no drilling etc to dash. Cut a small slit in the carpet and fed screen through. Nicely hides stand and wire.

Looks great Jeff. I'd thought about using something similar for an NA. The only minor problem is that whether the external screen is connected to the in car unit by FM or hard wired the standard radio can't be used for FM reception and still get satnav direction through the car speakers. While all stations can be accessed via the screen with apps this relies on mobile data. Maybe not a problem in well populated areas but in rural Lincolnshire and a lot of similar areas that can be a problem.
The standard radio position in the NA really isn't suitable for a double din unit if you want to be able to see the screen without looking so far down.
I did wonder if it might be possible to open up the radio and heater area of the 'tombstone' and fit an NB heater panel at the bottom with a double din in a surround above. That would bring the screen up above the gear lever position.

You can use Bluetooth, Aux or FM. I chose FM as trying to get bluetooth on radio, screen and iPhone was a challenge too far. Tuned to FM107.9 and it's nice and clear; also streamed Boom radio and it all worked, including Siri for voice commands and dialling. Quite impressed. It comes with a forward facing camera, 4K resolution, BUT curve on dash is too steep so it's not usable. I've got a good camera behind the mirror anyway, so not an issue. Also came with a rear reverse camera, but not necessary on an NA so didn't fit it.
I use Smarty sim (Three) with unlimited calls/text and 60Gb of data for £10 so no worries streaming. Even using it for streaming TV in Hunstanton for 5 days never used even a quarter of the data.

Used this for a few trips and on big main roads, it's great; however on our back roads (and local main roads) it bounces all over the place - not the mounting but the plastic hinge/join which is not user adjustable. Had to take it off, which is a shame as I really liked the convenience of car play, front camera, bluetooth etc all in one unit. I have instead changed it for a mag mount with iphone fast charge built in. Whilst I had all the tools out, I also decided to remove the style bar and add a Mk2 wind jammer which came from eBay. It looked brand new, just dusty so a quick clean and started the fit. As usual the Eunos and the Mk2 fittings were diffferent so I had to drill a couple of new holes which didnt take long, but I managed to snap my Chinese unbreakable drill bit which, apparently, is made of Chinesium and not steel. Reason the style bar came off is that we went on a trip recently and needed the rear shelf for a roll bag. Impossible to load with a roll bar and the roof up and it isn't a simple matter of closing or opening the roof with the bag in place due to the glass rear window. It will also hold an iPad Mini, but will it survive a few bouncy bumps and potholes? I don't think i'll try.....
